Ettins are a race of two-headed giants that look like ogres. They appear in the "World of Warcraft" series.
Background[]
Ettin appeared in Azeroth following the Shattering. They quickly began heading for forests or mountainous regions where they unofficially settled. In the kingdom of Gilenas, an ettin attacks a small farm and is looking for a meal. Gilnean adventurers must top him from wreaking anymore havoc. Not too far away in Silverpine Forest, the forsaken undead subdued one and use him for transportation as he hauls a large cart along. In an island, a little farther away, an ettin is attacking Baradin Hold in Tol Barad. Many other ettins have thrown themselves in the Twilight's Hammer rankings.
Famous Ironforge dwarf explorer, Brann Bronzebeard found a fossil of an ettin and confirmed they evolved from ogres on Draenor (now known as the Outland). He suggest that they are a missing link and any remaining fossils likely perished when Draenor was torn asunder.
