Dire trolls are a race of large, bulky trolls with huge hands. They are stronger than most troll races. Dire trolls appear in the "World of Warcraft" series.
Overview[]
Dire trolls are small numbers of big, bulky trolls. These trolls are very rare and can only be found in the deepest part of troll territory such as the Temple of Atal'Hakkar and Zul'Gurub. Their is no racial distinction between them and any other troll species. It is possible they became this large from altered alchemically or magically through curse of enchantment. It is also possible they were born larger than any other troll. They are not known as monstrous by other trolls, presumably due to being stronger or in that specific tribe.
Blightbloods[]
Blightbloods were a failed project of undead dire trolls that Drakuru, an ice troll came up with. He was going to give the trolls crystallized blight which would make the trolls stronger. Adventurers were able to stop Drakuru so the idea never was deployed.
